A National Interest Security Company, LLC Affiliate, Information Manufacturing, LLC Receives Contract Award from United States Special Operations Command
FAIRFAX, VA, February 18, 2009 – National Interest Security Company, LLC (NISC) announced today that one of its portfolio companies, Information Manufacturing, LLC (IMC) received a $2.8 million contract to enhance work and mission support for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at its St. Petersburg, FL facilities.
NISC is building and maintaining an Unclassified Test Bed (UTB), a type of Research and Development (R&D) lab where new Information Technology (IT) products can be rapidly evaluated, matured, and integrated into existing systems for use by operational forces. The UTB provides an environment for the testing of hardware and software in a laboratory setting.
"NISC has been supporting USSOCOM since 2006 in rapid testing of new IT products for operations against terrorist networks," said Andrew Maner, Chief Executive Officer, NISC. "Our employees are personally and professionally committed to USSOCOM’s mission to provide fully capable Special Operations Forces to defend the U.S. and its interests."
